Ingredients:

• Zinc oxide
• Talc
• Iodoform

Directions for Use:

Ears:

1. Mop up excess moisture with a cotton wool swab, but DO NOT remove wax as it acts as a cork.
2. Lay the animal on its side and gently apply a pinch of powder using a small spoon. Dust around the inner ear (avoid the ear hole).
3. Massage gently from the outside of the ear.
4. Relief is often immediate, but continue treatment for 1–5 days (typically three days). Stop when brown wax starts to move and clears out naturally.

For maintenance: Apply a pinch in each ear once a week to prevent re-infection. Long-eared breeds can benefit from dipping the ear ends into Thornit weekly.

Itchy Paws:

1. Place a small amount of Thornit in a plastic bag.
2. Hold the paw in the bag and work the powder between claws, into pads, and halfway up the leg.

Itchy Skin or Anus:

• For general itching, dust lightly onto the skin, parting fur as needed.
• For anal itching, mix a small amount of Thornit with cream or Vaseline and apply where necessary.

Precautions:

• Only a small amount of powder is needed per dose.
• Avoid contact with carpets or furnishings, as iodoform may stain.
